TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PRIVATE USERS OF CVFORUM.DK

Below are the applicable terms and conditions for private users of CVforum.dk. These terms have been prepared in accordance with the GDPR and applicable Danish data protection legislation.

The terms for private users also include CVforum.dk’s privacy policy, the purpose of which is to inform you, as a private user, about how we process your personal data, as well as the rights and conditions that apply to the use of CVforum.dk’s platform.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PRIVATE USERS OF CVFORUM.DK

As a private user of CVforum.dk, it is important that you are aware of the following:

  • The purpose of creating a profile on CVforum.dk is to receive job offers and to be assessed for positions recruited through CVforum.dk
  • You can create either a basic profile or a full CV, depending on your needs
  • A basic profile is sufficient to receive job offers
  • When creating a basic profile, you will automatically receive notifications about relevant job openings by email and SMS
  • A basic profile contains your name, postal code, email address, telephone number, and information about your primary education
  • Your data is stored in an encrypted database and used to match you with relevant jobs
  • You may at any time gain insight into how your data is processed
  • You may at any time have your data deleted

CREATION OF A BASIC PROFILE

As a private user of CVforum.dk, you can create a basic profile free of charge.

By creating a profile on CVforum.dk, you confirm:

  • That CVforum.dk may process your data and share your anonymized CV with third parties
  • That CVforum.dk will only share your full CV with your consent

A basic profile consists of:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your postal code
  • Your telephone number
  • Information about your primary education

The creation of your basic profile takes place via our landing page.

After creation, you will automatically receive notifications about job opportunities via email and SMS.

In the messages you receive from CVforum.dk, there will be a link where you can express your interest in a job. If you choose to do so, CVforum.dk will contact you for a more detailed review of the job and your profile. At the same time, this is where we obtain your consent to proceed with sharing your profile with the company. If we only have access to your data profile, the meeting will also include the collection of data to set up your full CV in our system.

Please note:

You will only be introduced to the relevant company after you have had a conversation with us at CVforum.dk and have explicitly given your consent for your data to be shared with the company.

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. This can be done directly via the link in the original message or by contacting CVforum.dk at mail@cvforum.dk or by phone at +45 77 340 430. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal.

CREATION OF A FULL CV

A full CV is created using a standard CV template in our CMS system. You decide which data you wish to include.

You gain access to the template via a link in the email you receive when creating your basic profile.

Elements in the CV template:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Region
  • Country
  • Telephone
  • Photo
  • Email
  • Summary
  • Job functions
  • Education
  • Professional specializations
  • Courses and certificates
  • Language skills
  • Personal qualities and competencies
  • Employment preferences

You may also create your full CV by importing data from LinkedIn. Please note that if you do so, all previously entered data in the CV template will be overwritten. You may also create your CV manually.

VISIBILITY OF YOUR FULL CV

Your full CV will only be visible to companies to which you have given consent. Consent is given during your conversation with us and not when you click “Interested in the job” in the message you receive from us via email or SMS. You can therefore safely click “Interested in the job” without worrying that your data will be shared with the company before you have given your consent.

The review of your profile and any setup of your full CV take place during a telephone conversation with us. This is also where we provide you with more information regarding the job and the company.

Once your full CV has been made visible to the company, the company may contact you directly using the contact details listed in your CV.

CVforum.dk makes no guarantees that the company will contact you.

SENSITIVE PERSONAL DATA

It is not permitted to upload the following types of sensitive personal data to your profile:

  • Religion
  • Sexual orientation
  • Race or ethnic origin
  • Political affiliation
  • Trade union membership
  • Health information

If CVforum.dk becomes aware that such information has been entered, we reserve the right to delete it without notice.

YOUR RIGHTS

In accordance with the GDPR and Danish legislation, you have the following rights in connection with the processing of your personal data. You may exercise your rights by contacting CVforum.dk via email at mail@CVforum.dk or by phone at +45 77 340 430 on weekdays between 9:00 and 16:00.

  • Request access to your data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Restrict the processing of your data
  • Object to the processing of your data
  • Request that your data be transferred to another data controller

STORAGE AND DELETION OF DATA

Your data is stored for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purpose of its processing. Your data is retained in our CMS for 12 months after its last use, or until you delete it yourself or request deletion from CVforum.dk. Data that has not been used for 12 months is automatically deleted to ensure compliance with the GDPR principle of storage limitation.

You may request deletion of your data by contacting CVforum.dk via email at mail@CVforum.dk or by phone at +45 77 340 430 on weekdays between 9:00 and 16:00.

Once your data has been deleted, you are completely “forgotten” in the system and must start from scratch if you wish to create a new profile.

MISCELLANEOUS

CVforum.dk applies appropriate technical and organizational security measures, including encryption, firewalls, and access controls, to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or other unlawful processing, in accordance with the GDPR and applicable legislation.

CVforum.dk reserves the right to update or amend these terms in accordance with legislative requirements or business needs. Changes will be communicated via our platform or directly to users where relevant.

Any dispute regarding these terms or the processing of personal data shall be governed by Danish law and settled by the Danish courts.
