The following terms and conditions apply to private users of CVforum.dk. These terms have been prepared in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Danish data protection legislation.

The terms for private users also include CVforum.dk’s Privacy Policy, which aims to inform you as a private user about how we process your personal data, as well as the rights and conditions applicable to the use of CVforum.dk’s platform.

As a private user of CVforum.dk, it is important that you are aware of the following:

• The purpose of creating a profile on CVforum.dk is to receive job offers and be considered for positions recruited through the platform
• You can create either a basic profile or a full CV, depending on your needs
• A basic profile is sufficient to receive job offers
• When you create a basic profile, you will automatically receive notifications about relevant job openings via email and SMS
• A basic profile includes your name, postal code, email address, phone number, and information about your primary education
• Your data is stored in an encrypted database and used to match you with relevant job opportunities
• You may request access to your personal data at any time
• You may request deletion of your data at any time

CREATING A BASIC PROFILE

As a private user of CVforum.dk, you can create a basic profile free of charge.

By creating a profile on CVforum.dk, you confirm that:

• CVforum.dk may process your data and share your anonymous CV with third parties
• CVforum.dk will only share your full CV with a third party after obtaining your explicit consent   

A basic profile consists of:

Your name
Your email address
Your postal code
Your phone number
Information about your primary education

You can create your basic profile via our landing page. After creating your profile, you will automatically receive notifications about job opportunities via email and SMS. 

In the messages you receive from CVforum.dk, there will be a link where you can indicate your interest in a job. If you choose to do so, CVforum.dk will contact you for a detailed discussion of the job and your profile.

Important:

You will only be introduced to the potential employer after a conversation with a representative from CVforum.dk, where you have provided your explicit informed consent for your information to be shared.

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. This can be done directly via the link in the original message or by contacting CVforum.dk at support@cvforum.dk or by phone at +45 66806150.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of data processing that took place before the withdrawal.

CREATING A FULL CV

A full CV is created directly in a standard CV template within our system. You determine which data you wish to include.

You will receive access to the template via a link in the email sent to you upon registration of your basic profile.

Profile picture
Email
Summary
Job functions
Education
Specializations
Courses and certifications
Language skills
Personal attributes and competencies
Employment preferences

You can also create your full CV by importing from LinkedIn. Please note that if you choose this option, any previously entered data in the CV template will be overwritten.

VISIBILITY OF YOUR FULL CV

Your full CV will only be visible to employers to whom you have explicitly granted consent. Consent is given when you click “Interested in this job”.
CVforum.dk offers an optional telephone consultation to review the job and your profile. This is voluntary and does not affect the visibility of your profile.

You can withdraw your consent at any time or request deletion of your data.

Once your full CV has been made visible to an employer, the employer may contact you directly using the contact details provided in your profile.

CVforum.dk does not guarantee that the employer will contact you.

SENSITIVE PERSONAL DATA

It is not permitted to upload the following types of sensitive personal data in your profile:

•    Religion
•    Sexual orientation
•    Race or ethnic origin
•    Political opinions
•    Trade union membership
•    Health-related information

If CVforum.dk becomes aware that such information has been entered, we reserve the right to delete it without notice.

YOUR RIGHTS

Under GDPR and Danish data protection law, you have the following rights concerning the processing of your personal data. You can exercise these rights by contacting CVforum.dk via email at mail@CVforum.dk or by phone at +45 66806150 (Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 4 PM).

You have the right to:

•    Request access to your personal data
•    Request deletion of your personal data if it is no longer necessary for the purpose of processing
•    Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
•    Restrict processing of your personal data under certain circumstances
•    Object to the processing of your personal data when based on legitimate interests

Request data portability, meaning you can receive your data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format for transfer to another data controller.

DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

Your data will be retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of its processing.
If your data has been used within the last 12 months, it will continue to be stored until you delete it or request deletion.

Data that has not been used within the last 12 months will be automatically deleted to comply with GDPR’s data minimization and storage limitation principles.

You can request deletion of your data by contacting CVforum.dk via email at mail@CVforum.dk or by phone at +45 66806150 (Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 4 PM).

Once your data is deleted, it is completely removed from our system, and you will need to create a new profile if you wish to use our services again.

SECURITY MEASURES

CVforum.dk implements appropriate technical and organizational security measures, including encryption, firewalls, and access control, to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or unlawful processing, in compliance with GDPR and applicable laws.

CVforum.dk reserves the right to update or amend these terms in accordance with legal requirements or business needs. Any changes will be communicated via our platform or directly to users when relevant.

Any disputes relating to these terms or the processing of personal data shall be resolved under Danish law before Danish courts.
